Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG

Famous all over the world, this sparkling white DOCG wine is made from a minimum of 85% Glera grapes. Valdobbiadene Prosecco was first produced in Conegliano Valdobbiadene, a hilly area between Venice and the Dolomites. It is one of Italy’s historic wine denominations and was first recognised in 1969. Finally, in 2009, it was recognised as a DOCG wine.

We visit wineries, restaurants and other highlights to give you the information you need to plan a great trip to Italy. We can design itineraries, advise on bookings and show you the Italy that the tour companies don’t tell you about.
