Passerina Grape Variety

The Passerina grape variety is cultivated mainly in Le Marchè and Abruzzo. Wines made from the Passerina grape variety are often elegant and light. It has fresh flavours of citrus and a salinity and minerality on the palate which is delicious. It is used in making, amongst others, Offida DOCG and Controguerra DOC.

We visit wineries, restaurants and other highlights to give you the information you need to plan a great trip to Italy. We can design itineraries, advise on bookings and show you the Italy that the tour companies don’t tell you about.
