Oseleta Grape Variety

The Oseleta grape is a rare variety indigenous to the Veneto region of Italy. It was thought to be extinct after the phylloxera blight in the 19th century. However, some vines were discovered by Masi in the 1980s and they planted two hectares of these vines. The variety is now permitted to be used in Amarone and Valpolicella wines.

We visit wineries, restaurants and other highlights to give you the information you need to plan a great trip to Italy. We can design itineraries, advise on bookings and show you the Italy that the tour companies don’t tell you about.
