Nerello Mascalese Grape Variety

Nerello Mascalese is an indigenous dark-skinned grape variety cultivated mainly on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily and the south. It is light in colour with a bouquet and flavours of sour cherries, tobacco, herbs and minerals.
