Malvasia

Malvasia is a group of mainly unrelated grape varieties. At the last count there were 17 varieties of Malvasia, one pink, some red and some white. Most varieties of Malvasia are related to the Malvasia Bianca grape variety except the Malvasia Bianca di Candia which isn’t. Malvasia Bianca di Candia is the most widely cultivated Malvasia.
