Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world’s most widely recognised grape variety. It is a red grape variety best known in Italy for the Super Tuscans. In some vineyards no attempt is made to distinguish between Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Cabernet Sauvignon has a powerful structure which lends itself to long-lived wines.
